Handover of donations to Fountain of Hope

Sport In Action and Perfect Day Foundation have been in partnership since 2006, and during the time of its partnership, they have closely worked together in helping and supporting Fountain Of Hope. Some of the services that have been offered to date include renovation of the kitchen, ablution block and the dining hall.
In an effort to attain SIA’s mission to support and empower children to have a better and quality life, SIA in partnership with Perfect Day Foundation donated 50 desks, 9 chairs and 9 tables to Fountain of Hope Community School.

SIA together with its various partners have supported a number of children in the recent years and in doing so the aim is to contribute to the improvement and development of the young people in society. It is in this regard that Fountain of Hope was privileged with the donation of above mentioned equipment.

SIA’s Executive Director Mr. Frankson Mushindu handed over the donation on behalf of Sport In Action and Perfect Day Foundation, and in his speech he urged the children to concentrate in school, as education is the key to success in life. Speaking at the same event Mr. Mushindu said that Sport In Action and Perfect Day Foundation were well aware that both boys and girls are facing challenges in school, and that education is a vital aspect in a child’s life, therefore through education support they are delightful to be part of the process of improving the lives of the children in society.

Mr. Mushindu further stated that they will soon assist on renovating the basketball and netball court in order to increase access to sport and recreation activities by children within school.

President and founder of Fountain of Hope, Honorable Rodgers Mwewa received the donation on behalf of the children, in his speech during the event he expressed his gratitude over the donation, he therefore urged SIA and Perfect Day Foundation to continue working towards helping the children in the communities.

Sport in Action and Perfect Day Foundation will continue to work hand in hand in achieving its partnership agreement which aims at empowering the children and young people in schools and the communities at large.
