FAZ Conducts E License Training in Lusaka, Empowers Local Coach’s

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) hosted a successful E License Coaching Course from June 24-28, 2024, in Lusaka. Ten coaches from Sport In Action (SIA) participated in the foundational course, a crucial step in their coaching development.

The coaches who benefited from the training are: Francis Phiri, Lewis Simwinga, Lilian Saka, Richard Banda, Isaac Nyirenda, Monica Chidila, Edina Chiyosha, Estalla Mpundu, Caphas Shankandi, and Mary Tembo.

The FAZ E License Coaching Course is the first step in the coaching hierarchy, providing a solid foundation for prospective coaches. It is a prerequisite for advanced coaching tiers, and FAZ’s Nation-wide Coach Education program aims to enhance the skills of coaches across Zambia.

SIA and partners support demonstrates commitment to capacity building and developing the skills of local coaches, ultimately contributing to the growth and improvement of football in Zambia.
