The Girls in Action program (GIA),an initiative of Sport In Action, is dedicated to promoting sports inclusion and empowering girls to live active, healthy, and positive lives. By teaching important health and life skills topics, this program aims to impact knowledge and awareness among girls, enabling them to make informed decisions and better their lives.
Program Overview
Girls in Action is designed for girls aged between 10 to 24, with the goal of creating a supportive environment where they can develop essential life skills, build confidence, and foster positive relationships. The program’s holistic approach combines sports participation with educational sessions on vital health and life skills topics.
The sessions are delivered through qualified female peer leaders called, Girls In Action ambassadors their motto being #FortheGirlsByTheGirls.
