Sport In Action Hosts St Andrews University Delegation
Sport In Action welcomed a high-level delegation from St Andrews University on Sunday, July 14, 2024. Professor Clare Peddie, Vice-Principal Education (Proctor), and Stephen Stewart, Director of Sport, visited the organization to provide technical support to the Volunteer Zambia Project Program.
During their visit, the delegation aimed to gain a deeper understanding of the project’s progress through site visits and assessments. The team also explored potential links between the project’s current work and other initiatives, paving the way for possible opportunities in both the UK and Zambia.
The Volunteer Zambia Project has been instrumental in promoting sports development and education in the communities, and the collaboration with St Andrews University is expected to further enhance its impact. The visit demonstrates the university’s commitment to supporting community development projects in Zambia, and Sport In Action’s dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of young people through sports.
The outcome of this visit is expected to strengthen the partnership between Sport In Action and St Andrews University, leading to more significant contributions to the development of sports and education in Zambia.
